and how to identify and buy such a strap, and also if there’s a term for this kind of

Look at the back of your watch; the watch case and watch band are linked up through spring bars. Nato straps can fit or not, two points are critical.
1. Note the thickness of the NATO strap and
2. The “Gap” between the watch case and spring bar.
For your information, the typical Nato watch strap (classic type), should have around 1.0mm thickness, while our ZULU strap may have 1.4mm or above, which may not fit some narrow lug watches.
